Sometime later, Mark Wahlberg and Jay Feldman, life-long local and national philanthropists, got involved to create what’s known today as the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational.

The Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet team is proud to sponsor this incredible event again this year and support the Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Children’s Hospital. Learn more about how we’re making a difference in our community below!

The Why Behind the Miracle Celebrity Invitational

Mark Wahlberg has been a philanthropist in the local community and across the globe for decades, but his specific love for the Detroit area began when he was in the city filming Transformers: The Last Knight in 2017.

Since then, he’s made Michigan his second home by getting involved with various businesses and organizations, including the Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Children’s Hospital in Royal Oak. In fact, the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation donated more than 1,000 tablet computers to Beaumont Health in 2020 to help patients stay in touch with family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual Feldman Automotive Children’s Hospital is held every year to curate donations. The Mark Wahlberg automotive rooftops work closely with Feldman Automotive, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, to put together a memorable event that will create miracles for the children of Michigan. Every dollar raised at the event goes to the Children’s Miracle Network.

More on the Children’s Miracle Network

Feldman Auto Children’s Miracle Celebrity Golf OutingChildren’s Miracle Network is a far-reaching organization that partners with 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada. Their main objective is “to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.”

Donations are raised locally and stay local to the closest Children’s Miracle Network hospital to the charitable event raising the funds. These funds are considered “unrestricted”, meaning they can be used in a wide range of areas of the mission.

From critical treatments and pediatric medical equipment to charitable care for the families of patients, these donations are essential to the operation of this organization.
