The Chevy Bolt EV comes with front-wheel drive and a front electric motor that produces 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque that offers rapid acceleration and responsive handling. For long-distance driving, the Bolt EV offers up to 259 miles in a range of conditions. In total, the Bolt gets an EPA-rated 118 MPGe combined city/highway, an EPA-rated 127 MPGe city, and an EPA-rated 108 MPGe highway. The small battery allows for overnight charging and a full charge after about 10 hours.
Interior Space and Comfort
The Bolt EV offers a spacious interior with room for five adults in plush, supportive seats. Because of the hatchback design, passengers can get in and out of the Chevy Bolt EV easily. With Driver Confidence II, the Chevy Bolt gets automatic high beams that adjust to low-light situations, active lane control to keep you in your designated lane, and forward-collision warning that alerts you to potential crashes and applies the brakes in an emergency.
Plenty of connectivity technology is available for the Bolt, such as the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration. Chevy’s infotainment system is one of the best on the market and touted for its user-friendly interface and responsive touchscreen controls.
