About the Company

Directions Counseling Group has been around for over 20 years and was first established in 1993. The founders of the group recognized that there was a need for counseling services within the Central Ohio Christian Community. Since then both religious and non-religious people have sought the services that Directions supplies.

Their mission is to bolster the mental health of their patients by offering counseling as well as education opportunities. At Directions, they believe that God wants all individuals to have emotional stability in their lives. It’s this religious foundation that helps to make up part of their mission to lift up and nurture any group or individual, no matter what problems they’re facing. Due to this, the staff are amicable and eager to provide their professional services.

Services Provided

One feature that sets Directions Counseling Group apart from other similar services is the fact that they have an extensive roster of clinicians to help you, all of whom specialize in different areas. While some offices may only have a small handful of physicians, Directions is able to pride itself on having 15 different clinicians to choose from. However, instead of this being overwhelming, you can rest assured that you’ll be paired with the right clinicians for you in a fast and stress-free process.

There are six main types of counseling that they offer. Some of these specific categories include:

• Adult – This category covers a variety of issues from dealing with ADHD, anxiety and depression, stress management, trauma, etc.
• Children & Adolescents – From dealing with autism, substance abuse, divorce and separation, and more, you can be sure that your child gets the specialized care they deserve.
