The Mission of the GroundWork group

GroundWork group was founded in 2003 with the mission of helping nonprofit programs excel online so they could reach those who needed them. Since their foundation, they’ve helped all kinds of organizations in the community by “investing into social enterprises, developing new social innovation models, and providing sustainable IT solutions”.

In the last 15 years, GroundWork group has helped other nonprofit organizations in the community raise more than $45 million. These proceeds are used by other nonprofit organizations to better the community and maximize quality of life for millions of Ohio citizens.

Programs, Memberships & Volunteering

GroundWork group works with other nonprofit organizations from the ground up by providing all the building blocks they need to succeed. For starters, GroundWork group offers a variety of services, including:

• Hardware as a Service, which donates brand-new IT equipment
• Mission-Based Applications, which pair nonprofits with the right fundraising database management system and website needs
• Social Media Strategies, which helps nonprofits develop strong social media platforms

Additionally, GroundWork group also hosts a handful of programs throughout the year, such as their Nonprofit Board Development events and Recycling Drives.

By collecting recycled e-waste equipment through a partnership with the charity RenTek, GroundWork group helps their nonprofit partners dispose of their old equipment in a way that’s responsible and planet conscious. For each pound of e-waste material disposed of at these events, RenTek makes a donation of eight cents to GroundWork group, which goes towards the services they provide to other nonprofit organizations.
