Regular Maintenance Services

Staying on top of regular maintenance ensures that you’re prepared for whatever lies ahead, and your Blazer should be taken to our Chevy experts at least every 7,500 miles. During these routine visits, your vehicle will need a tire rotation to keep the wear and tread of all four tires even. This levels out performance and grip while also improving fuel efficiency.

Your vehicle will also receive an oil change, which keeps your engine running cool, clean, and smooth. Other body components will also receive lubrication, and a multi-point inspection will take place to ensure all other parts are performing up to Chevy standards.

Air Filter Replacement

On your third scheduled maintenance visit, if not sooner, your Blazer will receive extra special treatment. The cabin air filter will be replaced during this visit to help provide cleaner air while you drive. The air filter change occurs either at 22,500 miles or after 24 months, whichever comes first. If you suspect your Blazer needs it sooner due to airflow, fogging, or odor issues, let us know and we’ll replace it earlier.

Spark Plug Changing

Spark plugs help give your engine the initial energy it needs to start—they’re a vital part of the ignition process. Depending on the engine your Blazer has, you’ll need to have them replaced at different intervals.

If your Blazer has a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine, its spark plugs will work reliably for up to 60,000 miles. Once you reach that milestone on your odometer, our technicians will get to work replacing them.

Drivers who have a 3.6L V6 engine under their vehicle’s hood can rest easy for a while longer. Blazer models with this engine can drive up to 97,500 miles before needing spark plug replacement.
